Special Section on Theory and Design of Reconfigurable Mechanisms and Robots: Published December 2022
The Special Section on the Theory and Design of Reconfigurable Mechanisms and Robots is now available on ASME’s Digital Collection. This Special Section features 14 manuscripts and a Guest Editorial and is intended to provide a platform for sharing and presenting new research and solutions for Reconfigurable Mechanisms and Robots in theory and design.
In the August 2022 issue, the ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics published a Special Issue drawing on papers from the 45th Mechanisms and Robotics Conference (MR), held as part of IDETC-CIE 2021.
During IDETC-CIE 2022 in St. Louis, JMR’s Journal Spotlight session on August 16, 4:10-5:50 PM (Central Time) will feature presentations by Ruiyu Bai, Yaobin Tian, and Just L. Herder.
The ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics invites papers for a Special Issue drawing on papers from the 46th Mechanisms and Robotics Conference (MR), held as part of IDETC-CIE 2022. Submission window: September 14 – October 15, 2022.
Together with the Editorial Board, I am pleased to announce the winner of JMR’s 2021 Best Paper Award: P. Reinier Kuppens, Miguel A. Bessa, Just L. Herder, and Jonathan B. Hopkins, “Compliant Mechanisms That Use Static Balancing to Achieve Dramatically Different States of Stiffness,” ASME J. Mechanisms Robotics, April 2021; 13(2): 021010.
The following papers published by the ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics had the most downloads and views in 2021.
This Joint Special Issue (published over two volumes, one in JCND and the other in JMR) aims to bring together the latest research on robot kinematics and dynamics as well as intelligent control and data-driven methods for perception, planning, model identification and control.
Submission deadline extended to: June 13, 2022
The Editor and Editorial Board of the Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics would like to thank all of the reviewers for volunteering their expertise and time reviewing manuscripts in 2021. Serving as a reviewer for the journal is a critical service necessary to maintain the quality of our publication and to provide the authors with a valuable […]
